Maintenence of Certification (MOC)

MOC Modules

As part of recertification requirements, physicians must now participate in Maintenance of Certification Program (MOC) activities to facilitate lifelong learning and competency throughout one’s career. The goal is for physicians to reflect on their personal knowledge and performance and commit to a process of improvement and reevaluation of performance measures over a specified time frame that ultimately leads to improved care for their patients.

The CME-certified self-assessment modules listed below have been reviewed and approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) as part of a comprehensive self-assessment program, which is mandated by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) as a necessary component of maintenance of certification. They assist you in identifying clinical and practice management skills that are central to quality patient care and improved outcomes for patients with psychiatric conditions.
