Virtual Grand Round Series Spaulding Virtual Grand Rounds 2013-2014: Preventing Injury and Enhancing Recovery Spaulding Virtual Grand Rounds 2013-2014: Preventing Injury and Enhancing Recovery These eight one-hour, live and on-demand sessions on physical medicine and rehabilitation are presented by experts from Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and broadcast from Boston, MA. This second annual Virtual Grand Rounds Series is designed to change how clinically-active physiatrists handle common medical problems affecting patients. The series focuses specifically on enhancing clinical practice related to: diagnosis and management of athletic pubalgia; prevention of complications from transforaminal epidural injections; development of a multidisciplinary cancer survivorship team that includes cancer rehabilitation; innovative treatment strategies for performing artists; evaluation and management of hip and lumbopelvic pain in female athletes; advances in understanding burn rehabilitation outcomes and complications; and emerging therapeutic options to prevent and treat spinal cord injury-induced osteoporosis.
